What teams may register?  All STYSA registered U9 and U10 recreational; recreational plus and recreational academy teams may register. 

Will the teams be playing 6v6 or 8v8?  Western District will offer games in both 6v6 and 8v8 as long as four or more teams register.  

May we have a guest player?    Each team will be allowed two guest players.  Guest players MUST be registered with STYSA and have a player card to participate.

Why do we have to have player cards?  Player cards are required for each player participating in the tournament because this is how the Tournament Officials and the Referees know that each player on the field is properly registered with STYSA and that they are covered by insurance. 

My team is registered with US Club Soccer, may we participate in this tournament?  Teams must be registered with STYSA in Western District.  US Club Soccer teams will only be accepted if they are dual registered with STYSA.  

My team is from Eastern District (Houston and surrounding area's), may we participate in this tournament?  No.  All teams accepted must be from Western District. 

How many games will my team get at this tournament?  The total number of games and the format of the tournament will be determined once all teams are registered.  Until November 24th, we cannot determine how many games any team will get. 

When will we have schedules?  Schedules will be posted by November 30th.  Teams should expect to play on Saturday and Sunday (December 5th & 6th).  Unfortunately, due to the number of teams we expect to register, we cannot honor any special time requests.  Teams will be expected to play as scheduled. 

Who gets awards?  All players will receive a participation patch.  The 1st and 2nd place team in each flight will receive medals.
